Menopause: a wakeup call ... brings awareness to your heart.
Maybe it is another chance to hear our bodies talk to us...to wake up to the cycles and flows that occur naturally in our bodies and in our lives. ? Maybe it is more of a blessing than a curse! How are you really doing? Are you looking at the transition in a whole-being approach? Instead of blaming our beautiful bodies where symptoms keep showing up; we can empower ourselves and embrace change, allowing our bodies to guide us through the past pain, and move forward. Women may find themselves reviewing and reflecting on their lives during this time. We may recognize unfinished business. We may resist taking care of the unfinished business, but the energy of menopause will continue to press on us until it is addressed. The relief of taking care of this unfinished business is part of the amazing transformation that can occur during this time. With menopause we commonly hear about the symptoms of hot flashes, night sweats, insomnia, fatigue, mood swings, memory loss, depression and anxiety. But where did this symptoms start? Did the symptoms start at the onset of menopause, or are they a culmination of past events that deeply touched our hearts? We may feel the need to start focusing on ourselves and what our inner voice is asking us to do. Women entering menopause are often dealing with other stressors in their lives at the same time:
Tension continues to pile up due to years of accumulative stressful experiences. It is important that we look deeply into what is really going on in our lives and address the issues for this transition to go smoothly. Regular energy and massage sessions help address all these aspects of our lives. |
